How deep will the stump be ground?
The grinding depth depends on the stump, visible roots, surrounding features, and what you want to do with the area afterward. The estimate defines the planned grinding area and finish.
Does stump grinding remove the entire root system?
No. Stump grinding reduces the approved stump and selected visible surface roots; it does not normally excavate every underground root.
What happens to the chips and the area afterward?
The estimate explains whether chips are spread, consolidated, removed, or used as part of the agreed backfill, along with any requested landscape follow-up.
